Merdeka, merdeka, merdeka!

As tomorrow is the 51st celebration of the independence of our beloved country, Malaysia and the end of the NECF 40 day prayer. I have realised that we as citizens of this country have a duty to pray for our land and our leaders. i love my country very much, i really do, but it is also with great sadness that i admit i have never been a patriotic person at heart. Yes, I celebrate merdeka every year and I enjoy it because I get a holiday (don't we all?) and Yes, I may sing patriotic songs and wave her flag but i think it's time to go beyond that. 

I truly believe that God has put each and everyone of us in Malaysia for a purpose. I was born here, and raised here for a reason and this is the land that He has given me. Malaysia may not have the best transport system nor is it the cleanest country but Malaysia is definitely the land for me. The sun will always shine brighter and the rain will pour with much love for me in Malaysia because my family and friends and all that is dear to my heart resides here.

Therefore, i will show my love to my land by praying for her and all those who live in our beautiful country, that God will give us the much needed revival & come and heal our land. We all are truly blessed in many ways which we do not realise and with much complain, we often overlook the beauty of what God has given us. 

We can do more than pray after we have prayed but 

we cannot do more than pray until we have prayed. 

I will do my part, will you do yours?

If my people, who are called by my name,

will humble themselves and pray and 

seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, 

then will I hear from heaven and forgive their sin

and heal their land

The Weekly Weather Report

boom baby, i'm back! ;)

i have been missing the past few days and i have a list of excuses on why i can't be heard, found, contacted in any way. Year 1 is actually finally over only on friday. Just to explain myself to those who have been searching for me high and low the past few days, i shall briefly let you know what i've been doing (before you start making theories up about my disappearance). For those who have known me long enough, this act shouldn't be something foreign to you. :P

i haven't seen them in 8 whole months! way too long. 

after finishing all 4 exam papers, i happily went and celebrate throughout the weekend overlooking the fact that i still had 2 assignments to hand in. smart me. so, monday till wednesday has been about assignments, assignments & assignments and that only. I had two 2000 words essay to write in 3 days and yes, i admit it's all my fault for being the last minute person I am. fuhh* be gone forever! :) i was desperately in need of sleep. On thursday, i was out the whole day guitar searching with mr D and mr farter and then i had dinner in MV with the lokas at sushi zan mai :D it was so worth it even though i sacrificed my studying time for viva. i am seriously in need of sleep. Friday was the day of freedom as year 1 is officially over *dances around* but it is also on this awesome day that i got sick. i got a real bad case of flu due to the lack of sleep for the past 3 weeks and exam stress, but all is well cause exam is done and i can sleep all i want now :) i just hope i don't stay in this condition for too long..  bye, i shall go sleep now.

goodbye, first year of uni.

gosh, it's hard to believe that i have already finish my first year of degree and i'm only 19! (or atleast i'm going to be in a few months time). it seems like yesterday, i was still wearing the blue uniform, waking up at 6 every morning. First year of uni has definitely not turned out as i expected it to be. but then again, when does things turn out the way we expect them to be? i still remember how i felt after the first day of class. let me tell you, it wasn't good feelings. i questioned myself whether i had made the right decision to take the fast route & whether i could stand the pressures of uni with many asking me why i was in such a rush. looking at it now, i'm glad i took up the challenge (thank you liza for giving me the push) and for God's unfailing love and never ending grace which He has shown me time and time again. :)

so hello, holidays :) 

yeahh!

i'm excited for year 2 to begin even though i know it's gonna be tough,

for i know He holds my future & there is a bunch of crazy 

& amazing people who will be with me all the way.

so, bring it on, baby! ;)

i can smell it. sniff*

14th of august. 

the day of freedom. 

the day where everything will look brighter, higher & better.

the day everybody is anticipating for.

the day where everybody is gonna do whatever they like.

watch a movie. go out and hang out. do this and that. 

i probably will be out celebrating my liberty too

but there is one thing i can't wait to do.

something so simple, so easy, yet i can't do it now 

because i do not have the luxury to do it. 

it does not require money, nor does it require any energy,

and no, it's not sleeping cause i still get adequate rest everyday. 

vk would want to do absolutely . . .

nothing.

thats right nothing. never thought of that did you?

everybody is just so busy thinking of what to do do do.

i'm sick of that honestly. 

i want to do nothing cause i want to and i can! 

i think it would give me the greatest satisfaction and closest to feeling the 'freedom' i have compared to all other acts i could do.

knowing that i have nothing waiting for me to do is such a relief.

& i want to savour every moment of it. :) 

i can't wait, can't wait! 

why of why?

1. I do not have to feel guilty for watching tv anymore :)

2. The Lokas will be reunited in August! McMac and McCartney is coming down to kl.

3. I can go out with Mr. D, Lulu and all those people i haven't met up with in ages

4. The penang trip with my college mates in September

5. and of course, I can do absolutely nothing. woo hoo!

it's here. wish i could run away.

Finals tomorrow.

i guess there is nothing else that can be done except

trying to stuff everything into my head.

just gonna try my best,

The Weekly Weather Report

what a weekend ! :D 

totally awesomeee.

This is probably one of the most hectic and 

busy weekend i had this year,

but it's also the best and most fruitful one till date!

too much for a weekend definitely.

i don't have enough sleep, i'm exhausted, wiped out 

sick of studying but i feel so hyped up inside.

did i mention? it ended with one 'bengkak' eye. ah!

Passion World Tour.

it was definitely worth every second and penny.

Chris Tomlin & Charlie Hall was amazing. :)

and Louie gave such a powerful message which 

truly blessed each and everyone who was there.

i'm excited, overjoyed, jumpy, crazy tired, and just so grateful

for everything God has done, is doing and is going to do :)
