Year 2008 ; more good stuff!

hello,

Year 2008 was filled with new beginnings and experiences,
and has been in every sense amazing.
From the beginning of the year, I had a feeling that this year would be
a turning point for me and it has certainly surpass all my expectations!
It has been a year of much learning and growth,
which was never easy but all worth while.
Most of all, during this wonderful year He has taught me
to love even more as I grew to know Him more intimately.
It is truly amazing how God can work in us if only we will let Him.

Jeremiah 29 : 11
For I know the plans I have for you,
plans to prosper you and not to harm you;
plans to give you a hope and a future.

This was the verse that God gave me at the end of last year,
which i have been holding onto ever since.
It is a verse which is full of promise and hope for what is to come,
knowing that He who loves us holds our very future and that
He has great plans ahead for you and me. And because of that,
I am looking forward to what He has in store for me in Year 2009! :)

7  first steps/unexpected things vickie took/did in Year 2008 :

1. Started learning a new language
2. Serve Him in the music ministry
3. Started Year 1 Uni and completed it!

and even found a bunch of crazy friends.

2. Made a crazy YouTube video with the lokas

5. Exercised (this is a big thing i'm serious, ask ppl close to me)

6. Got a psycho dog, my lovely Xabi.

7. Embark on an unexpected journey with someone special.

All Glory to Him who does exceedingly, abundantly,
above all we could ever imagine. Thank you, Father :)

sleigh ride together with you

i'm back from youth camp :D
gosh, how time flies and now
everybody's favourite holiday is just around the corner.

MERRY CHRISTMAS !!
Happy Birthday, Jesus :)

1 John 4 : 10 - 12
This is Love : Not that we loved God, but that He loved us
and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
Dear friends, since God so loved us,
we also ought to love one another.

God bless you!

Still

i barely made it through this week.
i just felt so lifeless  and tired mentally that it has left me speechless.
It's usually better in the morning but
when night time falls so does my spirit.

My schedule was packed to the brim that i hardly
had any time at all to catch my breath.
I do not know how i will be able to carry on anymore
but all i know is that things will get better, somehow. they got to.
Thankfully, I'm beginning to see the tiny light at the end of the tunnel :)

Hide me now, under your wings
Cover me within your mighty hand

When the ocean rise and thunders roar
I will soar with you above the storm
Father you are King over the flood
I will be still and know you are God

Find rest my soul in Christ alone
Know His power in quietness and trust

p/s : Thanks for reminding me that He has greater things for me which are to come.

Ooo-La-Laa, c'est Decembre :)

November ended with the BAC Annual Ball
and now as quickly as that has passed another month has arrived :)
December has always been my favourite month.
How can it not be with Christmas around the corner and camp too.
But now that it is finally here, i actually feel a little sad knowing that
year 2008 is coming to an end.
Nevertheless, i am still as excited as ever to what is to come.

I have been quite busy (isn't that what you always hear from me?)
hmm, then again quite isn't exactly the correct word.
The word very would definitely be more accurate.
I have been having class everyday including Sunday because
of the land law replacement classes. Plus, i had a lot of little things
coming up here and there. Thus, i am totally wiped out.
I definitely had my share of ups and downs this whole week.
From happy to emo to sad to depressed to high and then to psycho.
It's just gonna be one crazy ride this month, i tell ya.
