The Weekly Weather Report

This weekend was filled with excitement, frustration, happy moments,
disappointment, yawns and laughter, joy and also sweat! :)
So, what exactly have I been up to??

I went to Malacca for a day trip on Saturday to check out the youth camp site which is to be held on the 18th to the 20th of December! The place was great and the facilities was more than we could ask for. Honestly, it is not the 5 star hotel kind of place but it's definitely worth the money we're paying. If anybody is interested to come for the camp, i would be more than happy to tell you more about it! :D ask ask ask.

who is this?? shoo away from my knight!

the camp site. ain't it niceee? *nods*

there was actually a car charging towards us from behind!

After that, we went to eat cendol and chicken rice! :D it was gooood and i also learned a lesson to never ask daniel to order food the next time. i will tell you why. The waiter asked us whether we wanted the roasted or the white chicken in mandarin and then the smart guy answered - Daniel : One normal "chi" please. Waiter : o.O LOL. After getting our tummies filled with laughter and good food, we went for a walk along jongker street to buy more food! We headed home around 8 after a long, sweaty and tiring but fun-filled day :)

please please, quench my thirst

chicken rice! i still don't like the rice balls though.
i find it rather disgusting, don't you?

bye malacca, i will be back in december!

oh yeah, CONGRATULATIONS Fernando Alonso
for winning the first Singapore GP in the history of Formula 1!!

great to see back on the podium! ;)

The race was great even though Kimi crashed out on the forth lap. I guess it's not his year this time but i will not lose hope on you because you are coming back to take the win next year! :D SG GP is another race in the season filled with unexpected drama like Massa's crazy pitstop and Piquet's accident, which is exactly the reason why i love Formula 1. There is only 3 races left and Massa is 7 points behind Hammy only! Watch out for your back, Ham ;P *evil laugh*

i'm so happy the much needed 1 week holiday is finally hereeeee.
*dances to dancing queen*

Details in the Fabric

Are the details in the fabric
are the things that make you panic?
Are your thoughts results of static cling?

sometimes, i just get so easily bothered by the smallest details. i hate mistakes and imperfection which sadly becomes a weakness at times. certain things can be overlooked by others like a small curry dot on a white shirt or a pen mark on the blanket but this are exactly the things that can drive me insane! they really do drive me nuts till the point where my head is constantly filled with questions like 'why were you so careless?', 'you knew it was gonna happen then why did you do it?' and 'gosh, now you have to live with it'.

it's annoying and i would admit that it is senseless at times since i can't do much about it, but bare in mind that i also do not have a button available for me to press in order to switch off all this thoughts. they just keep flowing in and they don't stop. So the reason of me talking about all this is ??

i am bothered. i think i didn't make a very good decision in purchasing something and it's bothering the heck out of me knowing i have made a mistake. It's nothing big nor did it cost me much but it's certainly killing my mood as bad as writing my notes on the wrong side of the page. (yes, that annoys me too)

i do realise that these little things are a joykiller in my life which are unnecessary at times. i could end up a much happier person if i am not so attentive to all the tiniest details. But this is just a part of who i am and the reason the way things are what they are in my life. So for now, i shall push these thoughts away and focus on chillax-ing. *exhales*

Calm down
Deep breaths
And get yourself dressed instead
Of running around
And pulling your threads and
Breaking yourself up

My my, How can I resist you ?

finallyyy!
i got to watch the movie i have been waiting for months.
being a fan of musicals and ABBA, what else could it be, other than . . .

i rate it gazzilion stars :P yes, im being buyest. too bad, i love it.

it is the awesome-mest movie to me!

What makes me love this movie so much is that it reminds me of the lokas and all the fun times that we had, just pure silly crazy fun :) Ever-since i watched it on broadway a few years back in las vegas it has been one of my top 5 musicals. It's funny and smart but most of all it has incredible songs, which you can't help but to stand up and dance and sing-a-long! Briefly, the movie is about a girl getting married and is finding her father out of 3 possible candidates, which she has invited to her wedding without her mother's knowledge. scandalous! so, go watch and bring your parents along!
i will definitely watch it again and again ;P

Thank you for the music
the songs i'm singing
Thanks for all the joy their bringing
who can live without it?
i ask in all honestly
what would life be?
without a song or dance
what are we?
So i say, thank you for the music
for giving it to me.

ABBA, the amazing group behind the songs.

oh yea, before i forget! the musical broadway is coming at the end of this year! what's so special about this musical? It's really smart and different because they used all songs sung by ABBA and put them into a show and not the other way around. So, I would really recommend that you save your money and grab a ticket! :)

The Weekly Weather Report

Proverbs 3 : 6
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
and he shall direct thy path.

It's the end of another week, a hectic one i would say. thinking back on the happenings of the entire 7 days puts a smile on my face. not because i bought a new pair of shoes nor even because i got a new puppy. no doubt i am extremely thrilled that i got xabi but i am in awe on what He has revealed to me in just this short week. Truly the satisfaction and joy from learning something new surpasses all happiness :) i realised that sometimes we are so busy with our daily routine that we are left weary and thirsty at the end. time flies away, just like that. But God has a special way of showing and teaching us even in the smallest thing. we just have to stop to see & listen.

There is so much more that He is wanting to bless us with but sadly most of us would rather murmur and grumble about what we don't have, what we should have and every minor detail. Hear yourself, we sound like 7 year old kids! i do agree it is so easy to complain, i do it too (especially in the middle of the dreadful 5 hour land law class) but i think it's time to change. There is much more to life than just this.

wooosh*
new week has begun and i'm looking forward
to what He has in store for me !
i hope you do too. :)

The Weekly Weather Report

first things first,

Congratulations to Sebastian Vettel
for being the youngest Grand Prix winner!

first win at the age of 21! amazing.

two sebastians did great during qualifying

keep flying, kimi.

There are only 4 races left for this season and the next race is none other than the Singapore GP, which is the first-ever night race. I still can't imagine how is it gonna be, which is why i am so excited to see how it goes and who is gonna win it! It really nice to see so many new faces on the podium this season, like Heikki and Kubica.
It means that F1 is getting more interesting ;)

The Report :

My holiday has officially come to an end ! I had my first Year 2 class yesterday. In case you were wondering if i meant another day cause how can i have classes on a saturday? Yes, my class started on a saturday.  The subject was Land Law and it started at 2 and it ended around 7 and i thought my holidays couldn't end any worse. BUT i am not here to rant because as much as i am still in shock with the size of the class (which is huge, btw), I am thankful and grateful that i can meet my college mates again and for all the lovely mooncakes i have been eating throughout the week!

happy birthday to the two adorable twins who love to take photos,
syazwan & hanafi !

oh yeah, Happy mooncake festival to everybody !
don't be too busy eating those yummy mooncakes only,
why not just take some time to appreciate the moon during this festival?
it's just a suggestion, it is mooncake festival after all.  :)

i will fall at your feet ;

Freely You gave it all for us
Surrendered your like upon the cross
Great is the love poured out for all

This is our God

Lifted on high from dead to life
Forever our God is glorified
Servant and King
Rescued the world

This is our God

*I think this verse really puts into view the extent of the love and grace that the God we serve have for us. This is taken from one of my current favourite songs from Hillsong's newest album which has been playing in my head for the entire week. So, i thought i'll post it up :)

i'm wondering how many trees i killed during this holiday.
i tried to use as little as i could, but it's hard with my nose leaking
like a broken tap. gah, i look rudolph the reindeer now.

apparently, it wants me so much it got me twice in a month.

Penang, Here We Come !

Last week, me and college mates made a trip to the little island called Pulau Pinang. It was great, even though on the way there we got hit by a fat man in Ipoh (gosh, seriously? it was his fault and not our driver's!). The very brainless man did not brake for the bump after the traffic light and hit us in back/butt/a**, which caused us an hour of delay and left us all starving because we had to go make a report. gah you, man. oh well, at least we all got there safe and happy.

So, when we finally reached Penang the land of food, all we did was eat, of course! :D the trip was great, i had a blast! it was everything i wanted it to be, relaxing, easy-going, no rushing, loads of fun and plenty of bonding time and not forgetting the glorious and scrumptious food they have there. As this is my first trip with friends, i'm really glad it was such a good experience and i can't wait to do it some time again! ;)

hello penang, we've finally made it after weeks of planning!

the driver, kelly, me, carlye & jason :)

girls gone wild :P

the only nice picture we managed to take using self timer. haha.

at the beach on the first day.

we had our dinner in gurney .. yess, makan!

in the morning we went to eat again ..

happy faces after getting some food in our stomach.

vroom vroom* beware of lady drivers!

yummy, asam laksa! "so sedap wei"

and then we ate some more :P

look at adrian's car! it was the fat man's fault, im serious.

the beach in penang actually looks quite nice.

i got buried alive. gah.

candid :)

we went crazy in the room just before we left :D

i had loads of fun. thanks guys&girls :)

and thank you penang food for satisfying my tummy.
i will miss you indefinitely.

So, all in all, everything was amazing, the trip didn't cost us much and the hotel room was cheap and amazingly clean, the weather was great too. I don't think we could ask for more. The only bad thing from all that good was that the nice char keoy teow and fried stuff has left me with a sore throat. gah! but no regrets, vk totally love penang food!
