There But For The Grace Of God, Go I

Kensington Park, London.

November, November.
what a month it was! :)

Lovely in every way and to end it with a visit to Hertfordshire and London was just amazing in every sense. This month has definitely been alot easier than the previous month. I can finally say I feel settled and have even found comfort in my little room in Aberconway.

I am continually amaze by the company I have found here in Cardiff. It is encouraging and it reminds me that even when I feel alone, He shows me He is there through the people He place in my life. Looking back at my previous posts, I realised I have been writing alot about God lately. I guess I could say I have other interesting experiences that I could write about but really nothing seems to amaze me more than His grace for me everyday.

It's because I know without Him I know I could never sit here in my chair and smile thinking about the days that has passed me by with contentment and a heart filled with joy. Sometimes I do feel so down and broken or downright lost, but time and time again no one else comes to pick me up the way He does.

It is so true,
There But For The Grace Of God, Go I

:)

note : I will write about my trip to Bristol and Hertfordshire & London soon. London was amazing! Maybe it wasn't the place but the 3 people I went with. :D

Goodbye, November!

Saturday's Colours

Bridgend Designer Outlet

My umbrella broke today :(
The weather (or rather the wind) really got me this time!
Despite the rain pouring on my head,
my moods were too high up to get affected.
ah, how I love my Saturday outings and
I look forward to them every week.

It's so nice to just get out from the normal routine and
just relax and have fun with friends.
To forget for just for a little while all the assignments
and readings and chores waiting for me back in Cardiff.
And to also celebrate all the work done in one
short busy week.

It's a good day to just take a deep breath
from all that is happening and say

'God, I appreciate the fact that you have
gave me a life to enjoy.'

Cardiff Bay

Last Friday, my friends and I decided to head down to Cardiff Bay for a look and I had a really good time. We had buffet lunch at Cosmo to satisfy our chinese cravings and then walked around for the whole day till it started to drizzle.

It was definitely one of my better days in Cardiff. :)

Malacca : Out & About

During this holiday, much to my delight I was able to visit a few places but never had I went for a trip as random as the one I had last Saturday. I woke up late in the morning on Saturday and while I was having my breakfast at 1o, my dad just randomly decided that we would go down to Malacca for a day trip. By 11.15 my whole family was already in our car and ready to go!

Me & Janice (the triple jumper)

We went down to have some good food and also to support my cousins who came down from Sabah to compete with other independent chinese schools in track & field. :) I quite like Malacca and I have already been there trice this year, I find it to be a nice place to go when I just feel like getting out of the city. It was a good day and it is always nice when the Lokas reunite :D I hope to see the Ong sisters again soon!

Talking about trips, I'll be away during the Merdeka weekend to go for my church camp in Kuantan (yay!). I bet everybody is looking forward to the long weekend ahead.

I hope you'll have a good one! :)

Bonne Annivesarie , Lulu !

I had such a wonderful time sight-seeing KL City with my friends today.
The weather was beautiful and the places we visited really surprised us.
I guess i never really realised how beautiful our little busy city actually is, until today.
At times, all we have to do is just sit back and enjoy the view :)

You're 20! :D

The Weekly Weather Report

The Raya Holidays is coming to and end already and as usual i went MIA (Missing In Action) during my free days. So, where was I exactly ?

Tuesday : Home, of course!

Ning ning and Yuen Chee came to visit! :D
I was the baby sitter for the day since vien was busy with her friends. People who know me well would be aware of my 'love' for kids. I don't hate them, i really don't but i ain't those girls who go gaga for kids. However when it comes to the 2 of them, i totally become all mum-sy because they are so adorable. They really make me laugh and even when they torture me by fighting every 15 minutes or force me to play toys with them or even turn all the knobs of my guitar,
i still love them to bits!

Moment of the Day : Ning asks philip, 'what is 2 plus 1?',

phil replies 'you tell me the answer' and she answers ..

" TWO lah "

Ning singing 'thank you for the music' with her sister.

She's such a love. :)

Wednesday : Bentong Waterfall

Wondering why I am wearing the seat belt when I'm sitting in the back seat?

Because Liza is Driving!! :P
We got lost but it was not her fault. really.

Ta Daa! :)

when i went back for the second slice it was all goneee :(

the camera woman never gets wet :D

Aunt Mary and Magdalene washing their hair. lol.

david giving us a lecture while torturing us

It was such a nice trip! It was relaxing and oh my, all the good food thanks to the aunties :D I am really glad i went even though it was such a last minute thing. My mum called me on my handphone at 5am in the morning telling me that our original plans got canceled and me and my sis can finally go for the trip. We obviously wasn't thinking straight at such an hour as we spontaneously agreed to go. I am so glad we made that decision and i'm looking forward to our next trip there! :)

To all Xabi fans out there, here are some new pictures. Enjoy!

Sleeping with his best friend, Mr drumstick.

The rest of my holiday was spent in Genting with my family and some relatives. No, I wasn't having a blast riding all those kiddy rides instead we just stayed in the apartment most of the time, where all we did was eat alot (or atleast I couldn't stop eating) played games (now i realise bomberman can be good entertainment), and sleeeep :) So, i do not have any photos of me doing such boring things.

I love love love the holidays because it gives me some time to be away from everything just for a little while. It's good for the soul and i know i need it. But hey, now I'm back! ;)

The Weekly Weather Report

This weekend was filled with excitement, frustration, happy moments,
disappointment, yawns and laughter, joy and also sweat! :)
So, what exactly have I been up to??

I went to Malacca for a day trip on Saturday to check out the youth camp site which is to be held on the 18th to the 20th of December! The place was great and the facilities was more than we could ask for. Honestly, it is not the 5 star hotel kind of place but it's definitely worth the money we're paying. If anybody is interested to come for the camp, i would be more than happy to tell you more about it! :D ask ask ask.

who is this?? shoo away from my knight!

the camp site. ain't it niceee? *nods*

there was actually a car charging towards us from behind!

After that, we went to eat cendol and chicken rice! :D it was gooood and i also learned a lesson to never ask daniel to order food the next time. i will tell you why. The waiter asked us whether we wanted the roasted or the white chicken in mandarin and then the smart guy answered - Daniel : One normal "chi" please. Waiter : o.O LOL. After getting our tummies filled with laughter and good food, we went for a walk along jongker street to buy more food! We headed home around 8 after a long, sweaty and tiring but fun-filled day :)

please please, quench my thirst

chicken rice! i still don't like the rice balls though.
i find it rather disgusting, don't you?

bye malacca, i will be back in december!

oh yeah, CONGRATULATIONS Fernando Alonso
for winning the first Singapore GP in the history of Formula 1!!

great to see back on the podium! ;)

The race was great even though Kimi crashed out on the forth lap. I guess it's not his year this time but i will not lose hope on you because you are coming back to take the win next year! :D SG GP is another race in the season filled with unexpected drama like Massa's crazy pitstop and Piquet's accident, which is exactly the reason why i love Formula 1. There is only 3 races left and Massa is 7 points behind Hammy only! Watch out for your back, Ham ;P *evil laugh*

i'm so happy the much needed 1 week holiday is finally hereeeee.
*dances to dancing queen*
